While a lot of movies in these series have no trouble showing boobs, few of them go as far as showing the beautiful lower parts of a woman’s body. Well, Pleasure or Pain has no trouble doing just that. So, if you were disappointed with our selection of movies before, we promise you that this one is worth a watch.
The director of this movie is Zalman King, a man who helped produce and direct movies and videos for over 30 years. Sadly, he passed away in 2012. However, we can take pleasure in the fact that we can still enjoy his work.
Plot: A wealthy real estate developer takes a young woman from an everyday mundane life and shows her a world of decadence and debauchery that pushes her sexual limits to the brink.

The way the story is told is, as always in these movies, not great, but decent. “A woman is telling her story on the radio of a marriage that is quite out of the ordinary. This movie plays out as softcore pornography with a gripping story. … There are plenty of interesting scenes and plots twists that kept me watching intently for 100 minutes, like the sudden and tragic ending to it all which I wont spoil for anyone.” capelladewdrop says on IMDB.

“As Pleasure or Pain drags on, it twists itself into an increasingly overheated melodrama sprinkled with bits of Eyes Wide Shut (during which King himself makes a cameo appearance). King keeps the frequency and variety of sex scenes up (which actually go a little farther than the average softcore), but the story is so uninteresting that it’s hard to imagine it keeping the viewer’s attention in-between. Occasionally, a moment, line, or visual will be ridiculous enough for a bit of flabbergasted laughter, but there’s not a shred of substance here. As a drama, Pleasure or Pain has nothing to offer, as a romance it’s lacking in spark, as a thriller it’s flat and unengaging, and as a softcore porno in the year 2014, it hardly has any reason to exist.” Tyler Foster jabs on DVDtalk.
Harsh words! But did you expect anything else? What about the acting? “Acting is shallow, because let’s be honest, these are porn stars. The movie is basically a series of cheap sexual fantasy delivered in monotonous tone.” Says quincytheodore on IMDB.
Oh dear! This is starting to look pretty bad. “Though she looks gorgeous Malena is not a great actress. Well nobody in this film is. But they’re better at other things lucky for them.” Jerghal adds on IMDB.
Can the nude scenes save the movie as it has done before in this series? “… King pushes the envelope of acceptability with a wife Victoria (Malena Morgan) who is so devoted to her husband Jack (Christos Vasilopoulos) that she will experiment sexually in any way that pleases him. This leads to some kinky but not totally extreme situations, including threesomes, lesbian encounters, sex toys, masturbation, phone sex, making porn videos and consensual adultery. Like the older ‘Emmmanuelle’ films of the 70’s, the goal isn’t to provide insights into the human condition, but to offer sexual-role playing propaganda. Wealthy, dominant, sexually irresistible & handsome male (typically, as in this case, of a euro persuasion), gets to be worshiped by all the attractive, young, but naive,purpose-less women he encounters.” Awesome! It’s starting to sound like this movie is exactly what we are looking for!
Last, but not least. “They filmed a lot of porn stereotypes scene like the car washer guy etc. They wanted something different, I understand, but every frame reminds you the cheap porn not something better. Once again we found a movie you shouldn’t turn on for the great story or acting. However, the movie does deliver when it comes to nude and sex scenes.
