1. Complete your profile to benefit your cam show
If you are on Twitter to promote your cam shows, you should really adjust your profile to reflect that. Whether you have an older account or you just made a new one for this purpose, everything in your profile should be configured so that your show gets more viewers from it.
In order to do this, follow these steps:
a. Change your profile photo and banner accordingly
Your profile photo will be seen next to every tweet you make. Not all your tweets might be about your cam show, but your profile photo can make it clear for anyone that you are a model for adult services. In your case, this probably means you should have a sexy photo of yourself as your profile avatar. However, if you don’t like showing your goods in the picture that gets seen the most, your second option is to simply use your face as your profile photo. In this case, people will recognize you which can be great for building a brand around yourself.
Your banner is what people see who actually visit your profile. If you want to show another photo of yourself in your banner, go ahead and do that. In the next parts, you can edit your bio and your link. Twitter allows you to put a clickable link in your bio, which is awesome! Make this the link you want people to go to the most, so don’t put a link here to another social media page.

c. Pin a tweet as an additional clickable link
You’ve seen me mention the term ‘clickable link’ a couple of times now. When it comes to conversion, clickable links are key. People are way more prone to click on a link than copying and pasting a link into their browser search bar.
This is why we are going to use the pinned post to provide another clickable link to our followers. Make this one your second-most important page that you want people to visit. It’s as simple as making a new tweet with a link and some text, and choosing the option: Pin to your profile.
2. Gain followers by following the right people
Now that you’ve completed your profile, it’s time to approach people to follow you. As you can guess, you’re not going to gain a lot of followers by just waiting around.
Luckily, there is an easy way to find potential followers and getting their attention without having to contact anyone.
What you want to do is find another webcam model just like you. In fact, it wouldn’t be a bad thing if he/she even looks like you.
Visit their profile and click on followers. Now, a window will open with people who are following this webcam model. All you have to do now is follow these people. When they see that you are following them, they will look at your profile and see that you are a webcam model. Since they apparently already follow another cam model, there is a big chance they will also follow you.
Disclaimer: Twitter is very strict when it comes to mass-following and will ban your account fast if you do so. Twitter is an amazing place for automated processes. Many tweets that you see in your timeline are just generated automatically because something triggered it. A new follower on OnlyFans, a new sale on a website, a new post on a blog, everything can be made as a trigger to generate a tweet automatically.
The same goes for cam shows and models. There are many Twitter accounts that automatically tweet when a certain cam model comes online or when he/she posts an update about their show. There are also a lot of account that manually tweet when you come online or retweet your tweets.
The way to find these promoter accounts and have them tweet about you goes as follows:
a. Start with a search on Twitter by searching for @Chaturbate. @Chaturbate is the official Chaturbate twitter account, they don’t retweet models, but their tag is going to help us out.
b. Sort the result by ‘Newest’.
c. You will now see a lot of models with tweets to let their fans know that they are online and also tag @Chaturbate.
d. What you are looking for is tweets with a lot of different @’s, because we are looking for promoter accounts. So, look for names like: @Chaturbate_eu, Chaturbate_Pro, or names with Promo in them. Again, @Chaturbate is the only official Chaturbate Twitter. Twitter accounts with Chaturbate in their name followed by something else are usually promoters. The same goes for accounts with Promo in their name of course.
e. Once you find a promoter account, check if they tell you that they retweet your tweet if you mention them. If they do, copy their Twitter account name in a notepad and save it somewhere. Keep doing these steps until you have a nice list of names.
f. These accounts are kind of shady, so many of them get banned. You probably have to repeat these steps every couple of months.
g. Now, the next time you tweet that you are online, tag these accounts in your tweet and they will most likely (automatically) retweet your tweet.
4. Spread your tweets like butter
This tip is actually going to be about 2 things that are related to each other. First, when and how do you tweet when you are going to be online? If you look on Twitter for the term “online now” together with a Chaturbate mention or a LiveJasmin mention, you’ll get a ton of results. This means that there are many models who tweet right before or after they come online. Is that bad? Not at all, but let’s visit their Twitter profiles, shall we?
We will now see that by far most of them ONLY tweet when they are online. I advise you to spread out tweets throughout the day about going online. This tip also strongly links in with the tip “Tweet on busy hours” that you might see on other blogs.
So, rather than ONLY tweeting when you are online, you should let your followers know from the start of the day that you’ll be camming that day. After your camshow, you can send out another tweet: “That was an amazing show, thanks for all of you, I’ll see you again tomorrow/Monday/Next time!“.
Extra Tip: Don’t forget to add images and hashtags to all of these tweets!
Now, my second tip for you within this subject, is to tweet on days that you are not online. Again, check out the profiles of adult models and you’ll see that many of them only tweet when they are online and that’s it. If you can gain a few extra followers on the days you don’t cam by tweeting out some simple tweets, why not?
It’s up to you if you relate these tweets to your camshow or not. I can’t find any statistics that prove you’ll gain more followers by doing that. Engagement is a big thing when it comes to social media, and it’s not different with Twitter. How can you use engagement to attract more viewers on your next show? My advice is to tweet in such a way that your followers get invested in your next show. Let me explain.

For example, on the day that you don’t do a camshow, simply tweet out a poll. Make this poll about a subject in your camshow. Your outfit, the location, the toys, a giveaway, whatever. Just ask your followers to vote on something that is related to your next show and by voting, they will get invested into that show. It’s very likely that if most people vote for you to wear black lingerie in your next show, that they will tune in to see it next time. Especially if you combine it with our last tip and send out a tweet with a picture [of the black lingerie] that you are preparing for your camshow that day.
Another simple way to get engagement is to simply ask a question. However, I find this to be less effective than polls when it comes to adult entertainment. Many people on Twitter use their personal accounts, and polls can be used anonymously. When you ask a question, people need to be prepared to step out of that anonymity to answer it. Don’t expect the same amount of engagement here as you get with polls.
