10 Questions for Ranya Muslim | Webcam Model Interview

JC: What made you decide to start a career as a webcam model?

Ranya: I think we all want to become independent financially and we are also seeking for a better time management, a job that could give us more free time. Decided to become a model when my life was not the best and I was having plenty issues going through my life. Guess it was the best decision.

JC: What is your camming schedule and how strict do you follow it?

Ranya: I work minimum 5 days a week and mostly in the morning. I start from 7am and I end my program around 3pm GMT+3. I am consistent and I try to follow my schedule because it is a job that requires discipline.

JC: What are the pros of being a webcam model?

Ranya: You get to discover new things about yourself, which is great. Also, you have the power to set your own rules/boundaries. Meeting new people and having fun, freedom of being who you wanna be. But be aware that you have to show respect and discipline, nothing comes without hard work.

JC: What are the cons of being a webcam model?

Ranya: You gotta be ready for harsh rude comments, some people’s nasty attitude … But if you teach yourself not to pay attention to those, you will be just fine. It’s not the perfect job, but it’s the job that rewards you enough to be happy with it.

JC: Is it possible to have a relationship being a webcam model?

Ranya: I think that we have the right to be loved and supported by the one that says to love us no matter what. I am single for the moment, but I know that love will find me one day.

JC: Are there any lessons you’ve learned from being a webcam model?

Ranya: We all need someone to listen to what we have to say … Guess that we are not aware of the loneliness that some people feel and live daily, but if you are kind enough to share a smile you will earn friends for life, so I learned to share kindness no matter what. I also had to learn how to edit videos/photos, improve my English and communication skills.

JC: How do you use social media? What kind of things do you post on the different social media platforms?

Ranya: I am not a big fan of social media, but I do use Twitter (@RanyaMuslim) because it helps me stay in touch with my community. I love sharing videos and photos, and also trying to make their day a little better with my content.

JC: For anyone looking to start their career as a webcam model, what advice would you give them?

Ranya: Be yourself and have no doubts that you can do whatever you want to do! Just work hard, think big and chase your dreams! Don’t let anyone foul you and set your own rules. And mostly – talk with everyone and be kind to them, you never know who’s behind the screen.

JC: Is there anything unique about your camshows that makes you stand out?

Ranya: I love to talk and to discover more about everyone that dares to join my room. My friendly attitude is what makes me stand out.
