10 Questions for Lilith Darque | Webcam Model Interview

Today we are starting a new series called Webcam Model Interviews. Since the roots of this website lie in the sweet soil of camming, we want to honor this threshold with this exciting series. It’s time to let our little light shine on those who do all the hard work, and give credit where credit is due.

Starting a career as a webcam model is anything but easy. Sure, when you’ve made it, working from home, in a comfortable environment, entertaining people and gathering some fame is all in a days work. However, getting there can be a gruelling process. The big stars on Chaturbate get all the visitors and tips, while the smaller ones have to fight for every inch. We at JezebelCams want to give everybody a fair fighting chance.

Meet Lilith Darque, a webcam model on on Chaturbate with over 70K followers. She calls herself a Vampiric succubus with an insatiable appetite. Viewers of her shows experience sinful pleasures beyond their wildest dreams. We asked her 10 questions, and this is what she had to say.

JC: What made you decide to start a career as a webcam model?

Lilith: I used to be an exotic dancer, but I was tired of the issues that came with that, like stalking and assault I experienced. I wanted a way to make a living where I could utilize my creativity and have some sexy fun, so it appeared to be a safer alternative to dancing.

JC: What is your camming schedule and how strict do you follow it?

Lilith: I have no schedule. I tell my fans, follow me to get notified when I make it online. I get on when the mood strikes me and I’m feeling energized (@LilithDarque).

JC: What are the pros of being a webcam model?

Lilith: “Working” from home and having a flexible schedule is my favorite part of camming.

JC: What are the cons of being a webcam model?

Lilith: Sometimes it can be difficult to motivate yourself to get online when you’re feeling tired or had a long day, etc.

JC: Is it possible to have a relationship being a webcam model?

Lilith: Absolutely. Personally, I wouldn’t want to be with someone who gets jealous over such things, and I wouldn’t bother to try.. that’s like some high school drama to me. If I am choosing to have you as my partner, you have my heart and that’s what matters. It may be easier for some to just avoid the issue altogether, and go solo, but a mature and understanding partner who is into it.. maybe even helping with photography or other things could be amazing!

JC: Are there any lessons you’ve learned from being a webcam model?

Lilith: I’ve learned how to use steaming and photo/ video editing software!

JC: How do you use social media? What kind of things do you post on the different social media platforms?

Lilith: For the longest time I didn’t use any social media. I really don’t like it, to be honest. I think it’s draining and time consuming.. not to mention I see it causing a break down of society.. but that being said, I did recently create a Twitter because it’s been difficult for me to keep my fans updated without it.

JC: For anyone looking to start their career as a webcam model, what advice would you give them?

Lilith: Be your genuine self, smile and have fun with it.. Don’t get discouraged by a couple slow nights.. I had a slow start (I was making a fraction of what I used to make at the club..) but now it’s a lot more consistent (in terms of viewers and tips) after putting some time in and building a small fan base. Invest in some good lighting and decent camera if you can. I think my poor stream quality is what hurt me the most in the beginning.

JC: Is there anything unique about your camshows that makes you stand out?

Lilith: I think my aesthetic is a bit unique. That’s where I use my creative juice.. I look like a gothic vampire succubus with a whole getup. Hair, nails, full heavy gothic makeup, fangs, colored contacts and unique sexy outfits. I might spend up to 3 hours getting ready to appear on cam.
